Mini Mayor in Mess With EMS

Well, well, well. What do we have here? Mini Mayor's pants is on fire today. All of those lies and cheating is catching up with Mini Mayor. We know there are no rebates. His wife know about the other women. We know he lied about the levees. We know he fired Von Jennings for doing her job. We know he's lying about HIP. His Catholic peeps know he's part of Larry Love's flock.  We know he lied to Rev. Franklin about the monies.  We know he reads blogs. We know he wanted Lamar to run that hit piece on Myron Lawson and David Pugh.  Etc, etc.  The boy just lies.  That's all he know how to do.  Lie.

What has all of this lead up to? Now the people that Mini Mayor represents as a lawyer in private practice are suing Alexandria. And these people are using the contract that Mini Mayor wrote to sue the city. People, where is the ethics charges? We here at Jacques Barack will be the first in the local blogosphere to call for Mini Mayor to step down. Through his duplicity and conflicts of interest on the CLECO case and representing EMS, Mini Mayor is unfit to remain as Mayor of Alexandria. We invite the Alexandria News Weekly, our local bloggers and The Town Talk to join us in asking for Mini Mayor to resign his post in this time of great shame.

Mini Mayor: To-To Goin Way Of The Do Do

Mini Mayor Briefing
August 4, 2010

Seen Mini Mayor's briefing yesterday?  Full-on fularious, people.  The briefing HAD IT ALL, people!  The denials (I've never seen Fetal Freddy's post).  The lying (I couldn't tell Fetal Freddy what to put on my his blog).  The hair.  The arrogance.  The attitude.  The bizarre (maybe the city should start its own blog!).  The out of control bipolarness.  The lack of medication.  You have to watch this or check out the original post.  Mini Mayor got his freak on.  Smoked an 8 ball and went all Bobby Brown/Whitney Houston.

The Extinct Do Do Bird
Our favorite line was when Mini Mayor said, and we quote, "The Town Talk's days are numbered".  Boom!  Mini Mayor Burn on Caveman Carty.  Yo, Mini!  To-To went the Do-Do years ago, but just like you to wait until now to tell Caveman Carty.

The Hopelessness of HIP

Bret McCormick survived yesterday's Hot Air Ballon festival and has this piece for our reading enjoyment today.  Myron is trying to outdo Jacques in the dumbest quote of all time contest:
"I think this is either gonna happen or not gonna happen in the next couple of months," Lawson said.
Seriously?  Nice job going out on a limb on that one, Myron.
The two sides now are waging battle in U.S. Bankruptcy Court to see who gets the lodging tower. Roy said it appears as if Capital One is preparing to fight to the finish, and a lengthy litigation process effectively could kill the downtown hotels initiative.
"It appears the adverse party will use the process and try to hold it up as long as they can. ... I guess what they are hoping is we would cave in and settle the claim," Roy said.
Jacques, you don't have a good history in federal court.  What overpriced legal team are you using this time?  How much are we spending on this set of lawyers?
Two ordinances pertaining to the hotel issue are up for final adoption before the Alexandria City Council at next week's meeting.
One would extend the city's interim management agreement with Noble Hospitality, which expires at the end of this month, for an additional 60 days, while the other would allow the mayor to enter into a contract with HIP for management of the Alexander Fulton and the Riverfront Center.
Last month, Roy said the city had reached the "outer limit" of the approximately $300,000 in Urban Development Action Grant program funds that were being used to keep the Alexander Fulton open and operating.
"We still have issues keeping us from getting closer to that line we don't want to cross," Roy said.
Ignorant.  Just ignorant.  What does "outer limit" mean, Jacques?  You already crossed the line, didn't you?  Just admit it.  The Red River flood guage is going to be redlined this Spring and Jacques is still spending our money on a flea bag hotel.  Maybe people don't want to stay there.  Have you considered that, Jacques?  We've heard, from high ranking city officials, that the cockroaches in the Fulton will walk off with your purse if you're luck enough to make it off the street safely.

Would You Buy a Used Car from This Guy?

Bret McCormick reports Alexandria says contract with Cleco includes at least $50M to settle fraud lawsuit.

If this image doesn't just sum things up. Jacques with his Boss Hog look. This brothers got some chops. And cocky Quasimodo with his script in hand. Trey the Parrot lurking in the shadows, racking up billable hours and careful to poop on the left side of the cage.

OK, but would you buy anything this guy says? What is that old saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Shame on Alexandria if we accept this crap. There ain't no money, Jacques! Rebates? Are you serious? In the next 5 years, Cleco will pay this blog as much money as they pay Alexandrians and that's a low down crying shame.

Worse may be the councilmen circling the wagons just for Jacques. Ro said it was "extraordinary" because Cleco's going to pay 5 years worth of bullshit bills. Hey, Ro, Cleco was the cause of the bills. Are you gonna run against Jacques or be his waterboy until a real man (or woman) steps up and represents. And Myron, you seriously think this is the best we can do? What, was that in the script that Jeff Hall gave you?

Jacques and Crutchfield were trying to outdo each other on how much the attorneys would cost. Uh, 4 million. No, easily 9 million! Sick. Hell man, they sold the Silverdome for less than a million. Hey, Jacques, we don't think you were ever here to fight Cleco. We think you were here to collect $100,000 a year, live large on the city expense account, take extravagant trips and buy yourself $60,000 BMWs.
